Here are some of the main reasons for my excitement:
- The Game Changer website is complete! It’s been a long time coming, I’ll admit, but I wanted to do it right. It’s so great to have this space to share what we’re doing and engage with all of you. Thanks so much to Eric Mills and the team at the National Institute for Social Media for their assistance with the design and build-out of this site.
- I’ve wanted to have my own PR-related blog for years. I’ve done many a guest post for Arik Hanson, Lauren Fernandez and others, but through the years there have been lots of topics that I’ve wanted to talk about that I felt I couldn’t address because I didn’t have my own devoted space. Why didn’t I start a blog? Well, simply put, I wanted to be sure I could do more than just contribute noise. I’m serious and passionate about my work, the business I’m in and backing up what I talk about in this space and elsewhere with my own experiences in the real world. As you can see throughout this website, I know what I’m doing. And I want to do posts that matter and resonate, that you learn from, that you identify with and/or you want to seek out because they add value to your life and career. Said another way, I want this blog to be a Game Changer. You have my personal guarantee that everything I publish in this space will represent my best effort to accomplish these goals.
- Game Changer Communications is off to a great start. Today also happens to be the one-year anniversary of my founding of the agency, a milestone we do not take lightly. We continue to add and grow, and I’m incredibly excited about the future of the firm. This blog is a natural step in the evolution and growth of the business.
You may know me already from my blog The Sports Ace. You’ll see I’ve brought that along to this new website as well, because “exploring the intersection of sports and PR” is another itch of mine that I intend to scratch from time to time. I’ll do my best to publish fresh content on a regular basis there too, so please enjoy that blog as well.
Please feel free at any time to surf through this website, comment on the blog or contact me directly with any feedback, comments, ideas, opportunities, etc. The best way to do this is to email firstname.lastname@example.org. I will return your correspondence as soon as I’m able.
Welcome to The Game Changer!
